The Town Of Webb and the Kiwanis Club of the Central Adirondacks are planning a Mountain Hike for local youth to the top of McCauley Mountain. Kiwanis volunteers are supporting this event. All Third – Fifth graders are invited and encouraged to participate in this event, which will render a strong feeling of accomplishment and many scenic memories. The hike will begin at the McCauley Base Lodge proceed to the top of McCauley Mountain via one ski trail and down by another route. While at the top, the children will have the opportunity for a spectacular view of the Fulton Chain of Lakes. A Town of Webb School Bus will drive the children to the McCauley Base Lodge after school. Parents are expected to pickup the children no later than 4:00 PM at McCauley. A flyer/permission slip will be distributed to the children at the Town of Webb School.
