Village Wide Garage Sales

From 8:00AM to 4:00PM

The Village of Poland is having their annual Village Wide Garage & Lawn Sales from 9:00 to 5:00 both days.

Hagaman Vendor and Craft Event

From 10:00AM to 4:00PM

The Village of Hagaman is putting together a Vendor and Craft Event at Pawling Hall, 86 Pawling Street, Hagaman. All proceeds are going towards beautification efforts for the Village, mainly for the purchase of new signs for the entrances and exits. There will be vendors, local businesses, crafters and artists, silent raffles with donations from local businesses, a 50/50 raffle, and a bake sale. Outside there will be a free bounce house from Kyle's Bounce Rentals, Dan's Backyard BBQ serving food, and the Hagaman Volunteer Fire Department with their kid's safety trailer. Admission and parking are free.

Pasta and Paws lunch & Chinese Auction

From 11:00AM to 2:00PM

There's a big "Pasta and Paws" lunch & Chinese Auction to benefit Forgotten Friends Pet Rescue of Sharon Springs, at Ruby & Quiri, Route 30A in Johnstown. Raffles, door prizes & a special table for kids. Bring your camera & meet Yogi the rescue donkey & Sandy the rescue pony. Adopt a dog! It's a nice family event. Doors open at 11:00am, drawings begin at 12:30pm.

Save Jax fund raiser

From 11:00AM to 5:00PM

Save baby Jackson, born with a rare skin condition that requires a bone marrow transplant to save his life. Chinese auction, raffles, food and fun. The Pit Stop, 8773 S. Main St., Poland. Tickets are $10 for age 12 and up, age 5-12 are $5.00 and under 5 free, family max of $25. Contact Dee Broadbent at 315-794-7013 if you wish to donate or purchase tickets.

Relay for Life Fundraiser

The Remsen Relay For Life team "Fred's Vikings" will be a bottle and can drive at the Remsen Jr/Sr High School on May 19th from 11am-3pm.

Chicken BBQ

From 3:00PM to 5:00PM

Chicken BBQ at St. Matthews Church in Leesville. Dinners $8.00 with all the fixings and a half chicken $6. All proceeds go to their Project Outreach which helps people in need.

Pancake Supper

From 4:00PM to 7:00PM

A pancake supper will be held at the Fort Plain United Methodist Church on 39 Center Street, Fort Plain. Adults-$7.00, ages 5 to 12-$5.00, and ages under 5 are free. The menu is: All you can eat pancakes, sausage, sausage gravy, scrambled eggs, applesauce, donuts, and a beverage. *Veterans FREE with I.D.*

Rome Capitol Theater Paranormal Investigation

What: 315 Paranormal Presents: The Final Curtain, A Walk Into the Unknown Who: 315 Paranormal Investigation and Research Society, based in Utica. Where: Rome Capitol Theater, 220 W Dominick St., Rome. When: May 19th. Doors open at 5:15 pm, Presentation starts at 6 pm Cost: Pre sale tickets- $10 general admission, this includes a Meet and Greet with the Members of 315 Paranormal Investigation and Research Society, a full presentation ( 1.5 hr long) of the history of Rome Capitol Theater, Our Group, its mission, and the evidence reveal for our previous investigation of the Capitol Theater. There will also be a general tour of the entire facility with stories from our investigations and a revisit of our evidence caught in specific areas. $15- VIP- includes all that the general admission tickets offer PLUS an after hours Paranormal Investigation with 315 Paranormal including the use of all of our equipment. This rare opportunity allows the general public to take a look into our world of Paranormal Investigating. All ticket prices will increase $8 per ticket the week before the event and at the door. There will be a Chinese auction with great prizes from many local businesses in both Utica and Rome to aide us in creating more revenue for the Fundraiser. This event is a great way for the general public to get an inside view of the Paranormal Science and experience similar things such as seen on many very popular television shows based on paranormal research. This is helping a great cause and all proceeds will be donated to the Rome Capitol Theater.

Plant and Bake Sale

WHAT: Plant and Bake Sale ( The sale includes quality flowers, hanging baskets and planters, along with vegetable plants. Perennials will also be for sale, along with some craft items.) WHERE: Old Town of Paris Garage on Pinnacle Road, and across the road at Reilly’s Dairy (The location is easy to reach off Mohawk Street, or Oneida Street in Sauquoit) WHEN: May 18 and May 19 WHY: The purpose is to raise money for local scholarships
