4th annual Recovery Classic Golf Tournament

From 9:00AM to 3:00PM

Join and play in Center for Family Life and Recovery, Inc.’s 4th Annual Recovery Classic Golf Tournament at Woodgate Pines Golf Club in Boonville. Every golfer will receive the following (included in the $100 per person registration fee): Green fees, golf cart, lunch, snacks and refreshments on the course, participant gift, 20% off at the Pro-Shop, and participation in the Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin, Closest to the Line, and Hole In One (sponsored by Steet Toyota) contests. Additionally, stay after the tournament for a BBQ dinner, door prizes and raffles. Antique Outboard Motor Club Annual Lake Swap Meet

From 9:00AM to 2:00PM

The event will be held on the grounds of the Town Boat Launch and Boathouse of the town of Schroon Lake. Attendees come from throughout the Northeast as well as local members and the general public is welcome to attend at no cost. There is no admission fee and no fee to display/buy/sell/trade.

The event also includes the buying, selling and trading of antique and classic outboard motors, boats and related items from attendees/vendors. Additional vendors are welcome at no cost. The general public is welcome. There will be food available for a donation for morning coffee and donuts and lunch at noontime.

The wet/swap meet is held in an Antiques Roadshow type atmosphere and interested parties can get parts, advice and resources for their old outboard motors and boats, as well as an outlet to bring their motors to put them in the hands of a collector who can restore it. President Mike Glenn announces that this year, the meet will again be a wet meet with members bringing boats and putting in the water.

The Chapter, organized in March of 2005 has experienced growth over the last seven years.

HALO HOEDOWN! Presented by Bug Country

The 4th annual HALO Hoedown to benefit H.A.L.O. (Helping Animals Live Organization), a not-for-profit, no-kill, no-cage cat shelter in Little Falls. It's a whole afternoon of country music, food, prizes and fun! Hosted by Bug Country, this year's headliner is Nashville recording Artist Sean Patrick McGraw (2nd year!) Sean also wrote Montgomery Gentry's current hit "So Called Life." The lineup includes the Dependents, a group of students from Fort Plain, and some of our area favorites: Redneck Rodeo Cowboys, TJ Sacco, Fulton Chain Gang, and Kara Brown!
