Spaghetti Dinner Benefit for Ken Jaquay

From 2:00PM to 6:00PM

A Spaghetti Dinner benefit and Chines Auction will be held for Ken Jaquay on at the Dolgeville Volunteer Fire Department. Adults $8 Under 12 $4 and under 5 are free. Ken is currently undergoing chemotherapy for a brain tumor. The benefit will help offset the families expenses of travel and daily living expenses while Ken is out of work. There are several chinese auction items! Please come out and help support this family during a difficult time!

JFC Fritter Supper

From 4:30PM to 7:30PM

The Seventh Annual Fall Fritter Supper sponsored by and held in the Social Hall of Jordanville Federated Church of Christ, 209 Main Street, Jordanville. Fritters with Real Maple Syrup, Scalloped Potatoes with Ham, Green Beans, Coleslaw, Applesauce and Desserts make up the menu.

For those who have never had them, Fritters are a batter that is deep fried. They form irregularly shaped balls like a deep fried pancake, that when covered in maple syrup, are simply delicious.

Adults - $8.50
Children under 12 - $4.50
Children under 5 - Free
Take outs add $.50 container fee

Harvest Ham Dinner

The Grovernors Corners United Methodist Church in Scotia is holding a Harvest Ham Dinner. The church is at the intersection of Grovernors Corners Rd. and Becker Rd. There is ham with all the trimmings and all are welcome. Bring your appetite!

American Pink Duck Pond Fundraiser

All the pink ducks are in a row once again for Cooperative Magnetic Imaging’s Annual “Quacking Down on Breast Cancer” event at Sangertown Square Mall in New Hartford! 100% of the proceeds from this event go to the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer program.

This second year event will feature gift basket raffles ($2 each or 3 for $5) along with prizes from the duck pond at Macy’s Wing in Sangertown. In addition, there will be breast cancer awareness items for sale throughout the day.

Winners will be drawn at 4pm. Dr. Nancy Shaheen, CMI Breast Specialist and Radiologist, will be on hand during the afternoon. “We encourage everyone to come and out and support this important cause which helps patients and their families obtain important services, treatment and research”, says Dr. Shaheen.
