Baked goods will be accepted on Friday, October 4 and Saturday, October 5 at 9:00 AM. No clothing will be accepted. All proceeds will benefit the philanthropic work of the Post 404 Auxiliary. Linda Gee Benefit

There’s a benefit for Linda Gee at the DeCarlo-Staffo in Little Falls from 2-6 pm. Tickets are $15 for couples, $10 for singles, 12 and under free. They’ll have food, music, face painting, Chinese auction, 50/50, door prize, and can/bottle collections.

2013 Early Childhood Educators Fall Conference

The registration period for the 2013 Early Childhood Educators Fall Conference is now open. This conference is open to all educators, including parents and guardians. The conference will hold a total of 5 sessions, each with 3 workshops for parents and educators to attend. Topics of workshops range from reduced-salt cooking ("Wake Up Your Taste Buds"), to learning about the Affordable Health Care Act ("Do You Care Enough"), to dealing with the issues and changes that your children go through ("Boogers, Belches & Bottoms: What's the Big Deal?"). Full day and Single Session registration is available. EIP grants will be available to qualified providers. A total of 6.25 training hours can be earned from attending this conference.
