Spring Farm Cares 5K Run/Walk for the animals is on thernVillage Green, Clinton. Pre-race registration is on the west side ofrnthe green with runners starting at 8 and walkers at 8:15. There willrnbe healthy snacks and beverages for all participants plus a varietyrnof vendors and adoptable animals from area shelters. rn

From 8:00AM to 1:00PM

Little Falls High School will host the second annual Walk for Wanda benefiting the American Diabetes Association. The walk is a three mile charity event with registration beginning at 8am and the walk to start at 10am. The event will feature a DJ to provide entertainment. The Little Falls freshman class will be offering refreshments and members of the Future Business Leader of America will provide displays explaining some of the effects of diabetes. There also will be door prizes, baskets to raffle, and a balloon release at the conclusion of the walk. Pledge forms can be found at www.lfcsd.org. Come out to join the fun and support the cause.

From 3:00PM to 7:00PM

It’s a “Spay-ghetti and No Balls Dinner” to benefit the 4Pet Sake spay/neuter program at the Mohawk Legion, 43 Main Street Mohawk. Bring the kids and a camera to meet Mickey and Minnie. You can eat in or take out. Adults $8, age 6-12 $5 and under 5 free. Meat balls WILL be available on request.

The Stratford United Methodist Church is holding a chicken bar-b-que at the church on State Route 29A in Stratford. The cost is $9 foradults and $4 for kids 12 and under.

From 4:30PM to 7:30PM

The Salem United Methodist Church is holding a lasagna dinner at the church, 1254 Stone Arabia Road, Fort Plain. The cost is $9 for adults, $5 for children.
