Swap Meet

From 9:00AM to 2:00PM

The Mohawk Hudson Chapter of the Antique Outboard Club is having their annual Swap Meetat the historic Mabee (maybe) Farm on Route 5s, Rotterdam Junction. The event includes the buying, selling and trading of antique and classic outboard motors, boats and related items. Food will be available for a donation and the public is invited with no admission charge.

SPCA "Pooch Plunge"

From 12:00PM to 4:00PM

The Montgomery County SPCA’s 5th annual Pooch Plunge is at the Veterans Park swimming pool, Locust Ave in Amsterdam. The event will benefit the homeless animals at the shelter. Admission is $10 per dog with the public invited to watch the fun-a $1 donation is requested. Don’t bother bringing your bathing suit, only dogs will be allowed to swim!

MVC's Summer Music Series Finale

Performers Leah Shaw & Aviva Jaye, Monica Garrido, The Eugene Tyler Band, and The AJ Ghent Band wrap up the Mohawk Valley Collective’s 2015 summer music series with performances at Historic Unity Hall at 19 Center St. in Fort Plain. It is also dedicated to the restoration and adaptive reuse of Unity Hall and another of the area's historic architectural gems, the former West Hill School in Canajoharie.

Spirit of the Wolf Powwow and Native American Fest

Saturday bird of prey show. Sunday live wolf show. Both days fire dancers and exotic animals. Also, drumming and dancing
