The Cherry Valley Fire Department is sponsoring a “Farm Toy Show” in the Cherry Valley-Springfield gym. There will also be a Chinese auction and food available for purchase.

From 11:00AM to 3:00PM

A “Santa Paws Christmas Shopping Event” to benefit the homeless pets of the Montgomery Country SPCA will be held at the Raindancer Restaurant, Highway 30 in Amsterdam. There will be plenty of great gift giving options with a portion of all sales going to support the shelter. There will also be basket raffles, hors d’oeuvres and information about the organization, its programs and pets currently available for adoption.

From 1:00PM to 4:00PM

H.A.L.O (Helping Animals Live Organization) is holding a "Home for the Holidays Pet Adoption Clinic" at the Folts Home (104 N. Washington St. in Herkimer). This event will be held on the first floor in the Beech Dining Room. Cats and kittens from HALO will be up for adoption looking for their forever home this holiday season. HALO will also be selling tickets for their Husqvarna Lawn Mower/Cash Raffle and Catnip Kickers for your feline companions. 

From 2:00PM to 5:00PM

Ilion First Baptist Church (8 Second St, Ilion) presents a fall festival event: A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. Free admission; food and fun for all ages. Come and join in the fun! 

 

 

A One Day Bus Trip to visit the Yankee Candle Flagship Store and Holoyke Mall will be held on Saturday, November 12, departing from Herkimer and Clinton. The trip will begin with a stop at the Flagship Store in South Deerfield, Mass., featuring the largest imaginable selection of Yankee candles and much more, including a Christmas and Toy Shop, New England crafts, and gifts galore! In the afternoon the bus will drop people off at the Christmas Tree Shops at Holoyke Mall in Springfield, New England's largest shopping destination. The cost is $45.00/person.
